Jennifer M.B. Schau DDS - Dentures

Dentures

Dentures are prosthetic devices constructed to replace missing teeth, which are supported by the surrounding soft and hard tissues of maxillary and mandibular arches. Conventional dentures are removable; however, there are many different denture designs, some which rely on bonding or clasping onto teeth or dental implants. Some of the advantages of having dentures are improved mastication (chewing ability), aesthetics, phonetics (speech), and self-esteem.

While avoidance of tooth loss and the need for dentures is our goal for every patient, sometimes the need is unavoidable. Dr. Schau takes the craftsmanship and fit of dentures seriously as they will perform a vital health function related to your overall health and digestion. The aesthetics of your smile are often a social concern that Dr. Schau is masterful in achieving.

If you think you may need dentures and have questions, please call to schedule an appointment to meet with Dr. Schau to discuss your options.
