The People of Nepal Continue to Receive Valuable Aid

Earthquakes are well-known for disrupting and destroying lives. Fortunately, the poor earthquake victims in Nepal continue to receive support from the ADA Foundation and many other sympathetic members of the dental community. This includes Ivolcar Vivadent and Henry Schein.
The ADA Foundation continues to raise money for dentists that are providing vital dental care for people in the region. Many reliable sources say that the ADA Foundation is doing a tremendous job with their efforts.
Henry Schein made an impressive pledge of $500,000 in health care product donations. The donations will include millions of gloves, thousands of durable bandages, and more than two million surgical masks. The generous firm also plans on donating quality toothbrushes and toothpaste.
Ivoclar Vivadent has pledged $100,000. This money will go to the Red Cross for emergency relief. The company is also interested in doing a joint-venture with the NepalDental Association. The joint-venture will focus on providing continuous help during the rebuilding phase of professional dental care in the area.
The USAID.Gov states that more than 8,000 people have died and more than 17,500 suffered injuries from the disaster.
